1. Introduction

EdgeFlow is a 100% on-device artificial intelligence chat application developed by Cortiqa ("Cortiqa," "we," "us," or "our"). We built EdgeFlow with a privacy-first architecture: your conversations, prompts, and personal data remain strictly on your physical device.

This Privacy Policy details how EdgeFlow operates, confirming that no personal data or conversational inputs are collected, tracked, or transmitted across our systems or third-party networks.

2. Zero Data Collection & 100% On-Device Inference

Unlike cloud-based AI services, EdgeFlow operates entirely within your local hardware environment:

• Local Neural Processing: All AI models (including Google Gemma and small language models) execute entirely on your device hardware (CPU/GPU) using MediaPipe GenAI runtimes.
• No Cloud AI Transmission: Unlike conventional remote chat APIs, your prompts, inputs, and generated outputs are NEVER sent to Cortiqa servers, Groq, Supabase, Google Cloud, or any external cloud AI provider.
• No Account or Login Required: EdgeFlow does not require user registration, email addresses, phone numbers, passwords, or authentication credentials.

3. Local Data Storage

All interaction history is kept strictly confidential on your physical phone:

• Conversation History: Your chats are stored locally on your device in secure local application storage.
• User Control: You have full control to clear individual chats or wipe all conversation history at any time through the app drawer.
• Zero Cortiqa Access: Cortiqa has zero access to your stored chats, device logs, or local storage.

4. Internet Usage

EdgeFlow requires Internet permission strictly and solely for the following technical functions:

• Downloading AI model weights (such as Google Gemma 2B) directly to your device upon your explicit request.
• Checking for mandatory application version updates.

EdgeFlow does not transmit analytics, telemetry, crash identifiers, or user interaction tracking over the network.

5. Third-Party Sharing & Selling

We do not collect, sell, rent, trade, or share your personal data with any third parties, advertisers, or data brokers.

EdgeFlow is 100% advertising-free and contains no third-party ad tracking SDKs.
